Things to keep in mind with the season ahead..

ALL participants are required to have a physical that covers participation during the 2024 Football Season. The physical form can also be found on our website under forms and downloads.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants WILL NOT be able to participate in ANY field activities, i.e. Camp, Practices, or Games until ALL Paperwork (forms) have been turned in completed. No exceptions!
If you have not turned in your Equipment from last season please do so at one of the registrations! You will not be issued new equipment unless the previous years equipment has been turned in.

Rising Sun Tigers Junior Football will provide the following equipment:
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads
- Football Game Pants with pads
- Game Jersey
You will be responsible for the following:
- Practice Jersey (or an over sized T-Shirt will work)
- Cleats
- Socks
- Mouth Piece
- T-shirt that goes under the shoulder pads
- Athletic Cup Support (Jock Strap with Cup)
- Practice pants with pads

A few reminders about camp, practice, and rules:
Camp & practices will be at Rising Sun Middle School from 6-8pm. Please be on time! For camp the required attire is shorts, t-shirt, cleats, and bring plenty of water. We emphasize the water! Please do not show up to practice with a little water bottle. It's hot and our athletes will need to stay hydrated. There will be several water breaks during practice, so plenty of water is a MUST!
Once our regular season practices begin, participants will have been issued all of the proper equipment. This will consist of a helmet, shoulder pads, football game pants with pads. You provide the cleats, socks, protective cup, and practice jersey, practice pants & mouth piece. Practice jerseys can be an oversized t-shirt, an actual mesh jersey that you can purchase at your local sporting goods store, or your favorite NFL or college team jersey.
Please pick up all your trash! This is school policy and we could lose our privileges to use the field if we do not follow the rules!
Please pick-up your children promptly when practice is over. (also keep in tuned if there is bad weather in the area, please be prepared to pick up your child early in the event there is bad weather)

The Rising Sun Junior Football and Cheer Program (RSJFC) is a committed partner to the Cecil County Junior Football League, and one of Cecil County's most outstanding youth football and cheerleading program as judged by our peers, our high school programs and the community in which we serve.
